Refugee Empowerment: Emmanuel has been a key figure in supporting refugee communities in Northeast Nigeria, promoting socioeconomic empowerment, social integration, and advocacy for refugee rights; through his initiative, known as ‘Refugee Empowerment Centre - RECE', a recognized best refugee-led-initiative by Global Compact on Refugee (under UNHCR sponsorship) as published on the digital platform.
Leadership and Collaboration: As a civil society activist, Emmanuel has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, building coalitions and partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including community groups, organizations, and government entities, to drive collective impact; as demonstrated in his ability as ‘Refugee Central Chairperson’ for Sardauna LGA, based on a mandate under UNHCR-TSEMA project.
Community Development: Through his work, Emmanuel has contributed to community development initiatives, aiming to improve living conditions, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities for marginalized communities as illustrated through TechCeFaCos’ works, UN ECOSOC accredited organisation with consultative status since 2013.
Human Rights Advocacy: Emmanuel has been a vocal advocate for human rights, particularly for marginalized or vulnerable groups, focusing on issues like equality, justice, and dignity for all individuals. He has worked with various organizations and communities to promote human rights awareness and protection; its in this context that cause his refuge across the border as he tried to mediate for the ongoing Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon (since 2016), between secessionists and government.
Social Justice: Emmanuel's work has centred on promoting social justice, addressing issues like inequality, discrimination, and environmental degradation. He has been a strong voice for marginalized communities, advocating for policy changes and social norms that promote equity and inclusiveness; especially of refugees their host communities based on Global Compact on Refugees’ framework.

In 2002, we initiated this idea of TechCeFaCos with focus on creativity and technological empowerment as base strategies for fighting high rate of unemployment as well as extreme poverty. Our premise was to fill the loopholes in our educational sector as well as promote development policies toward self-reliance.
TechCeFaCos’ mission: to enhance empowerment strategies through creativity and technological resources that could help in boosting development initiatives and creating sustainable impact as a fundamental solution for various socio-economic hurdles for growth and development.
Vision: To ensure that developing communities transform into emerging communities by 2035, i.e. to boost and foster local economy and mainstream into global economy.
Objectives: TechCeFaCos is focus is empowering people and communities to be self-reliance and self-dependent with their potential and available resources to overcome obstacles and turn them into opportunities on the following objectives:
To make positive difference through empowerment of the underprivileged, hence wealth creation, self-dependency and self-reliance for creation of new hope!
Promoting and supporting creativity and technological empowerment toward holistic approach base on our core thematic programmes!
Individuals as well as groups will equally take responsibility for their development
Other Objectives:
Providing them with resource necessary to foster and facilitate their services,
Developing and / or organising sustainable development scheme for poverty alleviation,
Promoting the welfare of women and children in the creative and technological development sectors,
Promoting creative and technological education and training as well capacity building programmes,
Promoting crucial element for any sustainable development programme such as ICT4D
Promoting volunteering initiatives and programmes toward creative and technological.
As an organisation with the above mentioned ambitions, TechCeFaCos initiated and is successfully developing its priority initiatives, i.e. projects and activities based on six main programmes - Community Development; Education & Training; Humanitarian Civil Service; Social Enterprise Advocacy; Micro-Finance Outreach Service; and Entertainment & Tourism. Details of TechCeFaCos’ development and humanitarian initiatives are found on her yearly plan of action document. To ensure successful management as well as sustainability of the organisation, TechCeFaCos has always been working as a united team of executive members, staffs, volunteers and collaborators in well structured bureau that equally function remotely. Membership and volunteering opportunities are open to all irrespective of ethnicity, gender, age, class or religion. Equal opportunity and valuing diversity are core values of the organisation. TechCeFaCos and its initiatives are often publicised in mass-media such as newspapers, internet, radio and television in order to present useful information for the community, seek for partners or ask for the support.
Generally, information for the mass media are being prepared by TechCeFaCos’ Volunteers and Network of Friends as well as Collaborators, at times, through our ‘promotional strategic’ i.e. campaign, known as ‘Help TechCeFaCos to Move Forward’.

Network of TechCeFaCos’ Friends are a small group of committed people found in countries and communities; and are interested in TechCeFaCos activities and helps the organisation in a different areas when needed; as well committing themselves on specify support of at least $10 monthly to supplement management budget. TechCeFaCos’ Volunteers are either field or online base workers, recruited directly through the initiative known as ‘Volunteering Mission Cameroon’ and / or indirectly through UN Online Volunteering program. Since 2003, TechCeFaCos has served the community of Cameroon thereby achieving a lot despite some great challenges that put the organisation at a stand-still period of 2 years before starting again from 2010 base on strategic plan of five years as focus on strategic issues for sustainable change.

The situation of Cameroonian refugees in Taraba State of Nigeria. As of January, 2022 the UNHCR registered Cameroonian refugees in Nigeria stands at 72,817 with Taraba State ranked second large state hosting 18,255 refugees.
History
TechCeFaCos Group is a Cameroon based organisation and is officially registered as Common Initiative Group, with Auth. No. : NW/GP/27/04/8170 to operate as a non-profit service provider aimed at promoting creativity and technological empowerment using integrated holistic approach as best solution to emerging socio-economic hurdles in achieving sustainable development and MDGs.
The status enabled TechCeFaCos to undertake its mission: to enhance empowerment strategies through creativity and technological resources that could help in boosting development initiatives and creating sustainable impact as a fundamental solution for various socio-economic hurdles for growth and development.
This mission is entrenched in a very strong vision - to ensure that developing communities transform into emerging communities by 2035, i.e. to boost and foster local economy and mainstream into global economy with the aim of empowering people and communities to be self-reliance and self dependent with their potential and available resources to overcome obstacles and turn them into opportunities on the following objectives:
To make positive change through the empowerment of the underprivileged, hence building financial independence, self-confidence, and self-reliance as a creation of new hope
Promoting and supporting creativity and technological empowerment through the use of holistic approach of our main programs
Individuals as well as groups will equally take responsibility to improve their well-being using their creativity and available technological resources.
With the help and support from TechCeFaCos members, friends and collaborators as well as volunteers; this organisation within the period of 2003-2009 was able to implement some great initiatives that have yielded many positive outcomes, though with some challenges (regarding sustainability). These challenges were a motivation reason for organizational development process that took place in 2010; given birth to new sustainability strategies to backup a five year strategic development plan. 2011 had its successes and challenges as presented on an annual documentation: ‘2011 Report & Financial Statement’, leading to further plans base on tight budget as documented on '2012 Plan of Action & Adopted Budget'. This document is available upon request for use as promotional material to enable TechCeFaCos acquires human and financial resources as well as collaborators to facilitate implementation. TechCeFaCos reaches out to her members, friends and collaborators with development updates issues and news items through these ‘Information and Communication Means - ICMs’: e-Newsletter, Press Release, Website, Weblog, Reports, Social Media etc; while communication is done through Postal, Online, Telecom, Radio & Television etc
