Help TechCeFaCos Move Forward!
Across Nigeria and Cameroon, women entrepreneurs - particularly Cameroonian refugees in northeast Nigeria and internally displaced women from the Anglophone regions; face systemic barriers to business growth in the digital age. Limited access to digital tools, low confidence in navigating online markets, and the lack of structured mentorship hinder their participation in digital economies. Without targeted intervention, these women remain excluded from economic opportunities that could foster self-reliance, dignity, and sustainable livelihoods.
Empower Women Entrepreneurs
The TechCeFaCos Women’s Network seeks to address this gap through the Women in Digital Business (WIDB) – Training of Trainers (ToT) initiative, implemented by Elimu Masters Hub in partnership with the ITC/ILO and Microsoft. The initiative will equip women with practical digital business skills, internationally recognized certification, and leadership capacity, preparing them to become digital business trainers and mentors who will empower other women within refugee, IDP, and host communities.
Women inclusion cannot be symbolic or supplementary. Sustainable gender equality in Entrepreneurship and digital skills requires dismantling systemic barriers and ensuring access to justice for women and girls in all their diversity.
